The approach I employ is called cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy (CBH). This entails looking at your thoughts, behaviours and feelings. We examine how these interact with the issues you are experiencing.
CBH combines hypnosis and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) with theories based on modern psychology and neuroscience. Both hypnotherapy and the CBT model are evidence based and comprehensively researched. Recent brain imaging experiments have shown that hypnotised subjects are more susceptible to suggestions.
CBH helps to change neural pathways and enables people to achieve significant emotional and behavioural changes.
I also employ mindfulness approaches and acceptance-based work as well as relaxation techniques.
With clients whose first language is German I am also happy to conduct the therapy sessions in German. Speaking in your mother tongue can aid accessing deeper levels of consciousness and areas of instinct and intuition.
